The Whole Broken Hearted Host
Aug. 28th, 2002 07:31 amI went back to my hotel room at midnight last night, spent an hour grading (until I was too tired to focus), slept until 5:30 a.m., spent another hour grading, then came into the trial office at 7:00 a.m. to get our lead partners off to court at 8:00p.m. Now I have to go back to the hotel, get my car, and drop off my grades in North San Jose by 9:00 a.m. I *like* sleep. I'm *not* a morning person.
This life is killing me - it's like having a big paper of exam due every day of your life for several weeks straight, with no break. But even then, I'm not as hardcore as some of our co-counsel, who are getting by with less sleep (or no sleep) and far more running around, so I should probably stop complaining and get back to work. Still, it's occurred to me that if I want to go into investment banking or somesuch, I'll at least have had some lifestyle training in advance.
