More on illness - as I've mentioned before, I'm rarely ill, but when it happens, it tends to be rather serious. Case in point - my recent gasrtic troubles have been severe enough for my doctor to suggest tests, which led to further tests, two appointments with a gastroenterologist, including one examination, further medication, and further sonogram, colonoscopy and endoscopy yet to be scheduled. Hopefully, all of this testing will present me with a clean bill of health, but if not, it's better to catch it early, I suppose. I am also still far from feeling back to my old self - I have less appetite, I'm weaker, and I'm still having a fair amount of gastric distress.

Ever the stoic, I'm nonetheless trying to be at work as much as possible, as we've had the summary judgement order on trade secrets in, and I've got a quiz coming up in finance I need to do some reading for. Combine this with the usual bills, maintenance, the impending apartment move, and it's all a bit much at times. But, as also noted below, push comes to shove, I have no-one taking care of me or looking out for me, so I have to take care of it myself. You suck it up and get things done.
